Fresh Start || 2017

I know it has been so long, and by that I mean really long since my last blog. Come to think of it, this is actually my first blog this 2017. Two months has passed since then, and my life has been pretty hectic. School has been an absolute pain, and stress has literally taken over my life. Everyday is always a busy and exhausting day, and because of that I didn't have any time for anything else.
I can't tell you how much I missed blogging, and " Instagramming ". Thankfully, finals are now over for this semester, and I have all the time for this blog and my Instagram. I actually spent one whole night just to plan some new things that I'm so excited to do for this blog.
For this look, I went a little extra. I wore an oversized lace up shirt. You guys already know how obsessed I am with oversized clothing lately, and when I saw this top, I wasn't really sure if I would purchase it, let alone wear it, because I was never really into laced-up shirts, but why not try something new right? And I also wore a black bandeau underneath.
As for my bottoms, I chose to pair this shirt with my dark washed high-waisted shorts, that I love wearing with my crop tops, and I think it just complemented the whole look, and you can never wear an over-sized shirt with no shorts underneath.
This look is actually a whole new look for me. I went all in, I tried and by try I mean really tried putting on some make-up that I'm not really fond of. I styled my hair that I rarely do, and to be honest I'm really feeling this new look of mine. It has been so long since I did something that I know I'm good at, and I know that I love doing.
Although this time, I'm adding something new to it. It is a whole new year after all and it's time to move on and get rid of all the things that ever held me back.
And that is the whole look, I have actually been planning to do this look for days now, and what a relief that it's already been done. I hope you guys liked this lookbook as much as I do, and I can't tell you how excited I am for the next lookbook blogs that I'll be doing the next following days.
